There were many reasons why I chose birth work. *I am Fully Vaccinated, First Aid and CPR certified, I have my Washington Food Worker Card, and passed a recent background check. I am continuing to learn and grow.Īs your doula, I will offer you an empathetic, non-judgmental, unconditional support. Most recently (September 2022), I was awarded a partial scholarship to Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings Full-Spectrum Doula course. This included a class called "Understanding Mom and Baby Care". I chose a self-paced course which totaled 8 hours of training. ![]() In September 2021, I decided to pursue my Postpartum Doula certification as well, through MaternityWise Institute. ![]() This included a Childbirth Education Class and a Breastfeeding Course. I took a 4-week/32-hour training at the Simkin Center for Allied Births at Bastyr University. I have been training to be a Birth Doula since July 2021. ![]()
